Amy holds a Master’s Degree in Community College Teaching with an emphasis in Communication from George Mason University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Communication from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania. Amy has worked as an adjunct communication professor for several universities and colleges in Maryland and Virginia, including George Mason, Montgomery College, Frederick Community College and Northern Virginia Community College.
Amy’s instructional background is quite diverse. While her main focus has always been on Public Speaking, she has experience in studies surrounding Interpersonal Communication, Intercultural Communication and Group Discussion.
Amy is originally from Western Pennsylvania but has lived in the DC Metro area for over 30 years.
