Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity

Alpha Gamma Rho

Alpha Gamma Rho is a professional and social fraternity that has been a proven training ground for leaders in agriculture and the life sciences since it was established at College Park in 1928. AGR has an expansive alumni base including more than 50,000 brothers nationwide and more than 700 professionals in the Washington area alone. AGR men are leaders in various clubs within the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, and the fraternity is an active member of the Ag Student Council. Alpha Gamma Rho emphasizes scholarship, leadership and fellowship, and is well respected among Greek organizations because of its no pledging policy. In addition, the chapter house located at 7511 Princeton Avenue offers brothers the opportunity to live together with like-minded individuals, many of whom are taking the same classes and share many of the same interests and career goals.
