Holly Finneran is a 4-H alumni (1990-1997) and a member of the Maryland 4-H All Stars (1997 to present) who represented the State of Maryland on its Horsebowl team at Nationals in 1993. During her tenure as a 4-H member in Queen Anne's County, she was the Senior Queen Anne's County 4-H Ambassador in 1997, Leader of the Queen Anne's County Clover Buds Group, and was the recipient of an Outstanding Member award in 1994 and a Clover Award in 1995. She served on 33 local, county, and state committees and was a Junior Leader for the Kent Island Young Riders 4-H Club and the Queen Anne's County Older Youth 4-H Club.
For the last five years Holly worked for the USO, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving our troops, as a Center Operations Specialist for USO Wiesbaden, Accounting Clerk for USO Europe, and Center Operations Manager for USO Incirlik. As an Accounting Clerk, she performed accounting and clerical functions to support six geographically-diverse centers spanning three countries and as a Center Operations Manager she operated and staffed a USO center in Adana, Turkey (Incirlik Air Base) in support of the USO's mission, and provided customer service and support to service members and the Incirlik Air Base community as they served our country while separated from family and friends.
Holly is excited to be a part of our team at the Maryland 4-H Foundation, as it provides a beautiful melding of two of her passions: 4-H and working to support non-profit organizations! She hopes that her love for 4-H and her professional experience will allow her to make a real and sustaining impact with us.
