•Extension Specialist for 4-H Youth Development in Volunteer Systems based at the Maryland 4-H Center. •Joined UME in 2012. •Member of State Development of the 4-H Practitioner Focus Committee, 4-H State Camp Action Team, and State Council Advisor. •NEA4-HA and MEA4-HA member. •Extension Goals •Work with field faculty to help strengthen the 4-H volunteer system into a high quality cohesive and consistent program for the over 4,000 volunteers in Maryland. •Increase 4-H awareness and involvement through educational outreach opportunities for youth throughout the state. •Develop collaborative partnership with external agency partners to strengthen life skills of 4-H members and youth through participation in diverse programs.
