Mark joined University of Maryland Extension in 2021 and is the Associate Agriculture Extension Educator for Frederick County. Mark is a Maryland native, and has worked across the state on a diverse array of agricultural operations including, organic vegetable, row-crop, multi-species livestock grazing and dairy operations. Mark received his B.S. in Agriculture and Natural Resource Economics from the University of Maryland (UMD) in 2020, and is currently working towards a graduate certificate in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from UMD. Mark's program in UME will focus on improving the economic, environmental and social sustainability of production agriculture in Frederick County and across the state.
