Susan K. Morris was an Extension Educator in Family and Consumer Sciences for the University of Maryland Cooperative Extension. A tenured University faculty member for over 30 years, Mrs. Morris was primarily responsible for programming in personal and family financial management in Montgomery County. In July 2002, she was promoted to Principal Agent/Professor in the University of Maryland College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Maryland Cooperative Extension. She retired as a Principal Agent Emerita, effective November 30, 2009. Mrs. Morris received a B.S. degree in Vocational Home Economics Education and an M.S. degree in Counseling and Student Personnel Services, both from Kansas State University. She is an Accredited Financial Counselor with the Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education. Prior to joining the University of Maryland, Mrs. Morris worked for the National 4-H Council in Chevy Chase and was a high school home economics teacher in her native Kansas.
