THANK YOU TO OUR GENEROUS DONORS~

In early June, the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources began a Launch UMD campaign called Fearless Foaling to benefit the equine studies program. We set a goal of $10,000, which was met within the first two weeks of the campaign! In all, the campaign raised more than $11,000!

These generous donations will help cover unexpected emergency veterinary costs the program incurred after a thoroughbred filly born this spring on the Campus Farm experienced serious health complications. Thanks to quick actions of UMD faculty, students and staff, the filly is now doing great! The donations will also help the equine studies program sustain its future and look to accomodate the growing interest foaling has generated with students on campus.
