The University of Maryland Extension program of the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, works throughout the state to improve life for all residents. Our faculty and staff are motivated by local concerns and our Extension program touches all 23 counties and Baltimore City, focusing on the issues that matter to the diverse populations of the state.
Through community engagement, youth development, educational programs, and one-on-one personal assistance, Extension affects change for families, farmers, schools, and the environment, building partnerships and using science to solve the problems in our own backyards.
Residents of Maryland are encouraged to participate in workshops, field days, open houses, and programs within their own communities and learn more about AGNR and Extension efforts to make Maryland a better place for everyone.
