Biography:
Dr. James Archsmith is an assistant professor of Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of Maryland, specializing in energy/environmental economics, industrial organization, and applied econometrics.
His current research focuses on the costs and environmental impacts of regulations in electricity generation, automobile fuel economy standards, and programs promoting electric vehicle adoption to promote adoption of effective and low-cost environmental policies
