As a 4-H Youth Development educator, my primary area of interest is science education that focuses on scientific literacy, environmental science, agricultural education, and workforce preparation. My work related to the 4-H club program includes life skills development in the areas of communication, leadership, and civic engagement.
I earned a bachelor of science in zoology and a master of education in secondary science from University of Maryland College Park. My previous professional experience includes three years as a wildlife conservation project aide/educator, seven years as a disabilities counselor, and thirteen years as a high school science teacher.
